TRAINING INSTITUTE
The Training Institute is tasked to mainly plan, develop, implement, monitor and evaluate training activities and courses, while ensuring that they are conducted in a proper manner.
It also develops and maintains training materials; issues examination slips and certificate, appoints training officials and assists the Board of Examiners in the preparation of question papers.
Other responsibilities include preparing budgets for training activities and courses, to ensure that there is adequate pool of trained instructors, provide staff training and update records and training statistics.
Terms and Conditions
Timeline
(Estimation) 2 days (for Basic First Aid & CPR) training and 1 day (for Introduction First Aid & CPR) training which is inclusive of lectures, practical exercises and theory examination (optional). Meal and beverage provided for Public Training.
Booking Policy
In order to secure a place on the Malaysian Red Crescent (MRC) public first aid training, the full fee must be paid at time of making the booking at least 7 days before the commencement of the training. This is a “first-come first-serve” basis only where if the number of participants have reached the maximum number of 35 we will advise the the late comers to book the training at another date. A booking is made once the training date is agreed to be reserved and full payment is received. Cancellations of the training or a “no show” on the commencement day of the training will incur a 100% cancellation fee. Fee will not be refunded once payment is made
We aim to keep our training fees low so that we can offer a cost-effective training solution to community organizations, businesses and individuals. In order to be able to do this, we are regrettably forced to charge for cancelled bookings.
At any stage, we are happy to change the participant where someone cannot attend but where an alternative person can attend in their place. We will not charge for this name change which can be done up to commencement day of the training. If the participant/s wish to change the training date please inform us at least 7 days before the commencement of the training. Changing of date or participant/s are allowed only once.

account and the copy of the bank in slip must be to here.
Official Receipt
Will be issued by the MRCS Finance Department according to the MRCS procedures. Please contact directly to the MRCS Finance Department if there is any queries regarding the official receipts.
Handouts
MRCS shall provide one set of the training materials for each participant during the training. The following are the training materials:
a) One (1) First Aid Manual
b) One (1) Triangular Bandage
Rewards
Participants who passed the examination will receive a First Aid Certificate (Certificate of Competence). Participants MUST attend all training sessions to be certified. Certificate will be issued after the MRCS has received payment of the service rendered and will be processed within 2 weeks after the completion of the training. The Certificate is valid up to 3 years.
