HARI PALANG MERAH & BULAN SABIT MERAH SEDUNIA: PENGHARGAAN UNTUK SUKARELAWAN

Satu tahun lagi sudah berakhir, Bulan Sabit Merah Malaysia-Selangor mengambil peluang ini untuk merakamkan ucapan terima kasih dan penghargaan kepada rakyat Malaysia dalam menjayakan semua program dan aktiviti kemanusiaan.

Bulan Sabit Merah-Selangor amat menghargai pengorbanan dan sumbangan semua sukarelawan yang berjaya menyediakan bantuan kemanusiaan untuk mangsa banjir di Hulu Langat dan kini di Batang Kali, Hulu Selangor serta turut bertugas semasa perhimpunan BERSIH.

Bagi memastikan sukarelawan BSMM-Selangor dapat melaksanakan khidmat bakti mereka, BSMM-Selangor berharap agar keselamatan dan keadaan semua sukarelwan dapat dipelihara dan dihormati.

Selaras dengan Hari Palang Merah dan Bulan Sabit Merah Sedunia pada 8 Mei 2012, BSMM-Selangor akan menjalankan beberapa program kemanusiaan untuk ahli dan masyarakt umum. Tema untuk tahun ini ialah “Menghormati Nilai Kemanusiaan”. Tema ini akan menjadi pemangkin untuk orang ramai menyumbang kearah kerja-kerja kamanusiaan, berusaha untuk mengurangkan risiko bencana alam dan memahani pengurusan bencana alam.

Diantara program yang dirancang, adalah seperti berikut:

(1) Penanaman Pokok Bakau di pinggir pantai Kuala Langat
(2) Larian Kesedaran Kesihatan
(3) Perkhidmatan Pertolongan Cemas di Tapak Perkehmahan
(4) Kem Perubatan
(5) Kempen Derma Darah
(6) Program Bersepadu Pengurangan Risiko Bencana Berasaskan Komuniti
(7) Perkhemahan untuk Pelajar Sekolah
(8) Latihan Pertolongan Cemas & CPR

Dalam masa terdekat, BSMM-Selangor akan melancarkan perkhidmatan ambulan untuk komuniti di Petaling Jaya dan Damansara.
