It was heartfelt touching moment when eighteen students sponsored by Malaysian Red Crescent celebrated their graduation from Cyberjaya University College Medical of Sciences (CUCMS) in Diploma in Paramedic Sciences on 18 December 2011. All the eighteen students graduated with flying colours with one of them nominated in a Dean’s list. Faizal Nurdin received his scroll from the Chairman of CUCMS, Tan Sri Datuk Dr. Johari bin Mat with CGPA 3.86.
‘It was an unexpected due to I know there are other students who better than me. With the award, I feel more obligated and fond into medical services and hopes I shall be able to upgrade the service of MRC ambulance. I do hope as well to further my study to higher level so that I can pass my knowledge and experiences to the new generation of paramedic students and as well to create a better system in emergency and ambulance services particularly in MRC to ensure more life can be saves. A student must have an interest in what they are studying, full focus in the class, revise frequently and as well share the knowledge with others. I also practice to rewrite the notes on paper base on my memory and understanding’, he commented of his secret of success.
The sponsorship program by Malaysian Red Crescent carries only one goal that to equip the ambulance staff with better knowledge. It also a self-transformation program to ensure the staff maintaining high professionalism and responsibility while carry out their duties. Malaysian Red Crescent hopes with this program more corporate sectors will come forward to engage the Malaysian Red Crescent ambulance service or to sponsor the staff to continue studying or in any form of donation that will benefit the society.
