The Malaysian Red Crescent carry all sort of courses for members and the public throughout the year. Courses are held at the Malaysian Red Crescent National Headquarters, selected Branches or Chapters.
These basic courses are:
- First Aid
- International Humanitarian Law (IHL)
- Psychological Support Programme (PSP)
- Simulation
- Integrated Community Based Risk Reduction Risk (ICBRR)
- Rapid Deployment Squad (RDS)
- Disaster Management
- Radio Communications
- Regional Disaster Response Team (RDRT)
- Boat Handling
For those who want to become instructors, they have to undergo an advance course to qualify themselves. Advance courses are held by the institute or with the cooperation of other agencies.
These courses are held with the cooperation of other agencies:
a. International Humanitarian Law (IHL) with International Committee of the Red
Cross (ICRC).
b. Regional Disaster Response Team (RDRT) with International Federation of
the Red Cross & Red Crescent (IFRC)
