As part of MKN Directive 20 – National Security Council, the Malaysian Red Crescent (MRC) is chosen to be part of the humanitarian aid mission in sending aid to the Pakistan flash floods victims. The mission left for Pakistan by C130 Royal Malaysian Air Force (RMAF) from its base in Subang. MRC representative, Sivalingam Doraisamy, Manager of Supply and Logistic depart for Pakistan around 10am this morning together with other nineteen members of the mission. Together with the team, supplies consist of medicines, powder milk, bottle, women pads, blankets and tents. The supplies donated by the corporate and the public through BAKTI. The team expected to reach Pakistan at 9.30pm (Pakistan time) on 19 August 2010 and will be back to Malaysia on 21 August 2010.
