Nine members of the Malaysian Red Crescent (MRC) personal and volunteers arrived from Gaza after their two weeks humanitarian mission. The team led by the National Vice Chairman of MRC, Datuk Wira Dr. Bahari b. Datuk Abu Mansor. They were received by their family members and staff at the Arrival Hall, Kuala Lumpur International Airport.

Speaking to the media just after his arrival, Datuk Wira Dr. Bahari told the experience in entering Gaza was a challenge.

‘Initially we were told that our team will have an easy access to Gaza, but many obstacles we need to pass before we received the permission from the Egyptian Foreign Ministry.’

He also got the opportunity to speak to the Palestine Red Crescent Society (PRCS) members pertaining of the aid seized by the Israeli from the peace team. PRCS members unsure of they will get the supply back. However, the will do all the necessary to get it so that they can disseminate the aid amongst the people.

Datuk Ahmad A. Talib who also joined the team commented, the Gaza people seem does have a little bit of freedom, but in reality, they still being control by the regime. He wishes the media would be able to tell the world how the Palestinian actually suffers in Gaza.

He added that although the Palestinian in Gaza seemed still standing and lead a normal life, but actually they live in poverty and cramp in a wreck building. He also added, people of Gaza required help not only a medical and food but they also need cement, steel and concrete to build up home again.
