The Malaysian Red Crescent has launched its yearly Nation Wide Blood Donation Campaign. The event was hosted by the Malaysian Red Crescent Perak Branch at its Branch Office in Ipoh, Perak. The campaign was officiated by Datuk Wira Dr. Hj. Bahari b. Datuk Abu Mansor, National Vice Chairman cum Chairman for Blood Program, HIV/Aids and Organ Donation.

The campaign held in conjunction with “World Blood Donor Day” which is celebrated on 14 June every year. The campaign was jointly organized with the National Blood Bank Hospital Raja Permaisuri Bainun, Ipoh, Hospital Teluk Intan, Hospital Fatimah and Hospital Panti Puteri, Ipoh.

Those were also took part during this campaign were Politeknik Ungku Omar Ipoh, Malaysian Royal Police, Army, State Government Department and Malaysian generous donors.
