The Malaysian Red Crescent (MRC) has collaborated with Bank Muamalat and Nestle (Malaysia) Berhad in giving Hari Raya goodies to 583 students of SMK Datuk Menteri, Ayer Hitam yesterday. The ceremony was officiated by YAM Tunku Idris Iskandar Ibni Sultan Ibrahim, Tunku Temenggong of Johor. Each student has received rice, cooking oil, sugar and RM 20.00 cash for Hari Raya. As part of MKN Directive 20 – National Security Council, the Malaysian Red Crescent (MRC) is chosen to be part of the humanitarian aid mission in sending aid to the Pakistan flash floods victims. The mission left for Pakistan by C130 Royal Malaysian Air Force (RMAF) from its base in Subang. MRC representative, Sivalingam Doraisamy, Manager of Supply and Logistic depart for Pakistan around 10am this morning together with other nineteen members of the mission.
