MRC Secretary General, Maj Gen Dato Hj. Megat Mohd Yusof bin Dato Hj. Megat Mahmud (Rtd) accompanied by Lt Col Mohamad bin Hassan (Rtd), Manager IHL, recently, on 22nd of May 2009 had made a courtesy call on the Chairman of Sub-Committee on Methods of Warfare, Malaysian National IHL Committee, Dr. Ismail Ahmad at the Chairman’s office at Wisma Selborn, Jalan Tun Razak, Kuala Lumpur. Dr. Ismail is also the Departmental Secretary of the Ministry of Defence’s Policy Division.

The cordial meeting discussed among others, the mutual cooperation and involvement of MRC in assisting the National IHL Committee especially in International Humanitarian Law (IHL) matters where policy on methods of warfare is concerned.
